Morrow high is a public school which has 3 levels (with separate buildings such as Education building, GYM building, Football/Baseball/soft ball locker rooms & field house plans including dugout plans) with parapet framing.
Scope includes Radial Material attachments, base plates, anchor bolts and templates, different types of openings.Â
Among 16 stairs, in which we have Spiral Stairs, Circular Stairs, Grand Stairs, Social Stairs with higher flight width, garage stairs and dog leg stairs with Steel guardrails and Stainless steel grab rail and wall rails.
There were total 23 sequences to detail in this project & we completed the detailing of project in 24 weeks including fabrication release.
It is very challenging to design and detailing the circular Stairs as per the provided short radius with single intermediate supporting member and perforated risers & Spiral stair with Rolled HSS with vertical offset and radial pans with perforated risers. This spiral stair intermediate landing is resting on single tapered cantilever beam.
